I found this wonderful pattern on Mirella Moments and fell in love with the stitch. This pattern uses an English Rib Stitch which can be knitted in various ways and is sometimes called Fisherman’s Rib Stitch or Brioche Stitch… Depending on how it’s knitted. This pattern is a true English Rib Stitch and uses Yarn Overs and K2Togs to accomplish.

I wanted a chunkier oversized version, so I modified it to suit my needs. I loved it so much I made a few headbands in different sizes and also a scarf and hat for Christmas Presents!
