I designed this to be a comfy basic cardigan with a loose fit, bloused sleeves, and raglan shoulders. The body and sleeves are stockinette stitch, and the edges are worked in knit one, purl one rib. It’s worked in the Elizabeth Zimmermann style – from the bottom up and almost completely seamless (the only “seams” are the underarm stitches, which are grafted together at the end). The sleeves and body are worked separately and then joined in one piece to shape the shoulders and neck. I made mine in variegated 100% wool, but you can substitute any worsted-weight yarn you like for the pattern.

This is a PDF pattern that I will email you within 24 hours of your order. I try to make my patterns as clear and easy to read as possible; even so, if you have any questions at all about one of my patterns, please contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
