Skill Level: Intermediate

This crochet pattern is for an oversized men’s round neck t-shirt, with spiral square motifs and an open mesh. The body shape is square and the sleeves are large and baggy. The T-shirt could be worn as is in hot weather or over another top to add a bit of colour.

The design is made from the squares outwards, so up to the neck, down to the hem and out along the arms. There are only two seams across the shoulders.

The pattern was designed using DK (8 ply) cotton, but this is a lot thinner than acrylic or wool. It could even be made in a 4 ply cotton where the thicknesses are similar.
