The Overtime Hat is a closet staple with clean lines. It’s great if you’re a beginner knitter, or the perfect palette cleanser between big projects. It’s named for the night I cast on at the start of my son’s football game and finished during overtime—just in time to celebrate their first win! I almost always have one on the needles in my on the go bag, and I tuck them into my family’s coat pockets as I finish them.
It’s perfect for using up leftover yarn- you can keep it classic, or stripe it up with the colors for your favorite team.
