This is a dramatic, colour-led shawl which produces a stylish, triangular, yarn version of a summer sunset.

It is rather heavy on yarn so is suitable for those people who have a lot of half balls of unused yarns and, as such, can be a good stash-buster.
It uses four balls of approx 50gms/200m in dark orange, pale orange, dark blue and pale blue. I used Wool is the Answer 4ply yarn in Orange Tulips, Pale Orange, Deep Navy and A Smidge of Blue. The main colour used a full 100gm/400m of Faded Summer Day.

It is knit on 3mm needles; I used a 100vm long circular needle but that is personal choice.

The final dimensions are 100cm deep by 150cm long.

Please note that because of the lace sections this pattern looks best if blocked once finished.
