This easy crochet pattern is for a Pocket Pal Owl, the perfect-sized softie for holding and carrying in your pocket. These little fellows work up quickly and you can mix and match colours and stripes - in no time you’ll have a whole nestfull!

This easy crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

Materials
• Approximately 40 grams/60 meters size 4 (worsted weight) yarn (we used Bernat Handicrafter 100% cotton)
• Scrap amounts of size 4 (worsted weight) yarn in contrasting colour, white, black and rust
• Size 4.00 mm G hook, or size needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
• Fiber Fill
• Stitch marker

Notes
• Owl’s Body/Head is worked in one piece.
• Owl is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up.
• Owl’s Eyes and Wings are worked separately and then sewn on.
• Owl is roughly 4 inches tall.
