2022: Since I’ve been retired from pattern making for a while now and this pattern is old, I decided to make it free.

Note: Someone merged a different owl pattern listing with this one and I haven’t been able to get a response on removing it. The owl design in the projects (from before 2012) is a different pattern and it’s NOT included.

Pattern includes photo tutorial for magic ring and color changes, template for the felt piece, and some photos to help you along the way. PDF has 12 pages.

You will need:

♥ E/3.5mm hook
♥ Worsted weight yarn in brown, white, and orange
♥ Pair of 15mm safety eyes
♥ Pink felt
♥ Pink embroidery thread
♥ Yarn needle
♥ Embroidery needle
♥ Stuffing

This owl is about 4” (10cm) tall and 5.5” (14cm) wide. Results will vary depending on your tension and your yarn & hook choice.
