I designed this owl baby with beginners in mind. I kept mine simple, but you could embellish yours with a beak, wings, feet, feathers, whatever works. I think eye placement makes a big difference in the owl’s expression, so play with that to get the result you want.

In addition to the worsted weight yarn, you’ll need small amounts of two colors of felt for the eyes, some thread or embroidery floss for stitching them on, and a small amount of contrasting yarn if you want ear tufts.
