Owl Creek Spa Cloth
The Owl Creek Spa Cloth, gets its name from a beautiful mountain stream that winds through the Cimarron Mountains of Southwest Colorado! This is an individual listing for one of three cloths available in my eBook called the Cimarron Spa Cloth Collection. As a gift, it will add an element of handmade goodness to a spa collection paired with luxury soap, lotions, and bath bombs!
Simply stated, this cloth has gorgeous texture! It is constructed with a unique stitch pattern that combines single crochet stitches with a modified extended single crochet and chain stitches in an easy 2 row repeat. The result is a 2-sided cloth whose sides are equally interesting, attractive, and great for pampering!
With use, some crocheted cloths lose their stitch definition or are so dense that they dry slowly and become a stinky mess after a few uses. The Owl Creek Spa Cloth strikes a balance with its slightly open structure to aid drying time, and the structure of the stitch pattern that gives it shape resiliency.
This pattern is written for an 8 or 9.5 inch (20.3 or 22.8 cm) square spa cloth. It is worked in rows. If you wish you can add or subtract from its width by increasing or decreasing the number of chains in the starting chain, just make sure that you start with an even number of chains. If you want to modify the length of your cloth, simply add or subtract rows, but be sure to end on a RS row.
