The Owl Basket is now available knitted as well.

Skill Level: Easy

This monochromatic owl basket is simple and chic with a twist. It’s generous size (28 inches around by 12 inches high) can hold three full size rolled up towels. But don’t stop there! Use it to hold toys in the kid’s room, or odds and ends in the living room. Using thick yarn it is sturdy and can stand up on it’s own, yet can collapse flat when not needed.

Recommended Yarn
approx. 950 yards of bulky weight yarn (4 strands will be held together to make basket)

Note: you can halve the yardage by using super bulky yarn and holding two strands together.

Recommended Hook
10mm (US letter sizes vary for this mm size. Choose the hook that says 10mm)

Finished Size

12” high x 28” around

The Better Homes & Garden Version Owl Basket (Crochet Aran Version) is different since it uses 2 strands of Aran yarn & a smaller hook than this version which uses 4 strands of bulky yarn & a larger hook.
