I have found earrings to be a quick and easy gift. I wanted a pattern that would be smaller (using crochet thread) to give to those I knew didn’t wear large jewelry. But this would also be great using other yarn types!

Variation: When using worsted weight yarn, you can just DC 12 into the magic loop to make a smaller earring. (Turqoise earrings are an example.)

Red earrings are size 3 crochet thread and D hook.
Blue earrings are size 10 crochet thread and C hook.
Purple earrings are worsted weight and F hook.
