Whether you’re looking for a Christmas crochet decoration or just something different, this garland looks wonderful adorning a mantle piece, above a doorway or as shelf edging and makes a great gift for owl or nature lovers, or dorm or teen bedroom décor.

The pattern utilises basic stitches and simple construction techniques I’ve also added colour photos and stitch charts so that beginners and crochet pro’s alike can create this gorgeous crochet decoration.

The finished crochet garland measures approx. 1.75m (1.9yards) in length, large feathers 17x3.5cm (6.7”x1.4”), small feathers 11x2.7cm (4.3”x1”), when worked in DK (worsted) yarn with a 3mm (D) hook, after blocking.
