This is one of the cover projects on Knit Today Magazine, No. 54, Bedtime Knits supplement. It’s a cover for a small hot water bottle with an intarsia owl motif on the front and a plain buttoned back. The motif is completed with embroidery and Swiss darning (duplicate stitch).

The piece requires 1 x 50g of recommended yarn in each of 5 colours = 5 x 50g total. Also 5 buttons. There is a chart for the front with intarsia motif. There is no chart for the back.
