Owl in a Tree Playset
This pattern is 12 pages long and contains loads of photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in American crochet terms.
You will need:
Yarn of your choice for the owl. Yarn weight doesn’t really matter - the size of your owl will simply turn out bigger or smaller! I used Patons Smoothie DK Yarn and my finished owl measures 12cm tall (to the top of the tufts for his ears). You’ll need beige yarn for the body, brown for the wings and other details, white for the eyes and yellow for the beak and feet.
The same weight yarn in green and brown for the tree & bird’s nest, more white for the mouse, and in your choice of colour for the bird.
A suitable size hook for the yarn you have chosen - I used a 4mm hook.
Toy stuffing for the owl, mouse and bird.
Finer yarn or embroidery thread in black, pale pink and yellow for the facial details.
Other tools you will need are a tapestry needle, some scissors and a couple of stitch markers.
You are welcome to sell the items that you make using this pattern, but please do not sell / share the pattern itself. Thank you.
