Owl motif mom-and-me mittens in a full range of sizes. Mittens are knit in the round, then felted in a washing machine. Why felt a pair of mittens? Because felted wool is not only warmer and more durable than knitted wool, it is naturally water repellent and resists soiling. That makes it a perfect choice for snowman makers, fort builders, sledders and snowball throwers from toddlers to Dad.The owl face is applied post-felting with minimal hand sewing. Easy and quick. Comprehensive instructions are provided for the felting the mittens in a washing machine.
