This cozy and practical hat, adorned with cute whimsy owl and fun tassels will keep your precious one in warmth and make passers-by smile. It is a quick and easy project with bulky yarn.

Hat is worked flat from the bottom up. No need to shape earflaps, it simple covers your ears. Pattern provides two options for the crown shape: knitted flat and in the round. DPNs are used for shaping crown but Magic loop method could be substituted.

1-3 yo 17 ½ – 19 inch/44-48 cm head сircumference
3-5 yo 19 ½ – 21 inch/49-52 cm
6-9 yo 21 – 21 ½ inch/53-55 cm
+10 yo 22 - 23 inch/56-58 cm
