I was wondering what to do with one skein that left over, when a little snake told me to knit a hat. I liked the idea, because this winter I happen to have nothing to wear on my head… But, clever creature the snake was, and asked to make an owl on it. I was somewhat taken-aback, so he clarified seeing I hadn’t catch on: it was for him to eat! Also, while hunting a poor birdie, he’d warm my neck.
