These adorable matching Owls can be used as accessories or toys, or made as doorstops or bookends with the addition of a weight. This pattern has been designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz using acrylic DK yarns, and the owls are knitted flat on single pointed needles.

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK in Pearl, Stormcloud, Chocolate and Butterscotch; one 100g skein in each colour
Double knitting/light worsted weight
100% acrylic

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm straight single pointed knitting needles

NOTIONS
Toy filling
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
Two 15mm and two 10mm domed black buttons for eyes

SIZES
One Size: Brown owl is 18cm tall and Grey Owl is 14cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
Work flat on single pointed needles (not in the round).
Other techniques include casting on and off, knits and purls, increases and decreases, stranded Fair-Isle colour-work, and seaming to finish.
