This knitting pattern is for a chunky-knit beanie style hat perfect for winter. Six sizes available, this pattern will allow you to make a hat for everyone in the family. It has a pretty diamond motif, a double brim, and with the chunky yarn it makes it warm and comfortable to wear.

This hat uses the technique called stranded colorwork where you knit with two (or more) colors at a time. It is a good project for someone branching into colorwork because it works up quick and the yarn diameter is bigger and therefore easier to work with.
