A unique cabling technique gives not only a sturdy structure to this bag for a trip to the café with notebooks and novels, but emanates a harmony of striking textured ridges coupled with an intriguing blend of colors.
Finished Size: 11” x 16” x 4”.
Yarn: Louet Euroflax (100% wet-spun linen; 270 yd 247 m/3½ oz 100 g): #53 caribou (A), 4 hanks; #43 pewter (B), 3 hanks..
Hook: Size H/8 (5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Stitch markers (m); yarn needle.
Gauge: 14 sts and 15 rows = 4” in sc for base; 6 ch-2 sps and 11½ rows = 4” for body.
