This adorable newsboy hat is the perfect addition to a little baby’s accessory collection. It not only looks adorable, but on a sunny day it keeps the sun away from baby’s face, and in cooler weather, it keeps baby’s head warm. This is my original design, and it features 2 large buttons on either side of the visor and a ribbed strap. Now you can make your own baby newsboy hats like this one, designed for you at the Wools & Tools design studio.

The pattern is written using American crochet terminology, but British equivalents are provided so you can easily convert it to suit you. As with all my patterns, they are very easy to follow, although a good knowledge of crochet stitches is required. If you need advice, I am always here to help!

SIZES:
Instructions are provided for 3 sizes: 0-3 Months, 3-6 Months, 6-12 Months

MATERIALS REQUIRED:
• 50g/100g/100g double-knit/DK/8-ply yarn in main colour
• Oddments of contrast colours if desired
• Size 4 mm crochet hook
• 2 large buttons (about an inch in diameter)
