This hat was created to keep all heads warmed and the pattern spans from a 7 inch circumference to a 19 inch to cover the full span of noggins.

This hat is knit at a DK weight gauge, but honestly, let’s talk about this for a minute. This is your hat. You can literally knit this at whatever gauge you would like! The pattern is a multiple of 8, so if you want to make a worsted weight hat, a lace weight hat, or a hat for your hedgehog, just do it! Figure out the circumference of your head (minus an inch or so for negative ease to really stay on) and figure out how many stitches your swatch gets per inch. Multiply that many stitches by the number of inches you need and cast on that amount!

You will need yarn, a needle of choice, stitch marker (if not knitting magic loop), tapestry needle to close your hat, and any other hat notions you typically use.
