A beanie-style hat knitted in the round, which repeating oystercatcher motifs.

Needles: 3.5mm double pointed needles, 4.0mm double pointed needles

Other tools: tapestry needle, pompom (optional)

Yarn: DK wool in black, white and red. The hat pictured uses New Lanark Mill 100% wool DK.

Gauge: 18 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm x 10cm after steaming

Measurements: Fits a head circumference of ~55cm when knitted as described.

Alterations: The hat size can be made larger or smaller by using a different needle size, or by adding stitched between the oystercatchers.
