Octopus Ozzy is part of project Arctic. In Project Arctic I crochet different animals that live on or around the poles. They may live on the ice, in the air or in the water. What makes those animals special, is that many of them have a very different appearance when they’re young compared to when they are grown up. And that is very nice to crochet!

The octopus swims around all oceans and seas of the earth and has 8 arms and 3 hearts(!). They appear to be quite smart and protect themselves with ink or poison. This one is friendly though…

Size
The octopus will be about 7 cm high, 5 cm wide and 5 cm long.

Materials
• 1 ball Durable Cosy Fine Blue Grey 289
• 1 ball Durable Cosy Fine Jeans 370
• Leftover black and white cotton (suitable for a 3 mm crochet hook) for the eyes
• Stuffing
• 4 mm crochet hook (US G/6)
• 3 mm crochet hook
• Yarn needle
