Materials:

• Japanese size 6/0 crochet hook (3.5mm)
• This pattern calls for 150 grams of yarn when using Hamanaka Soft Concious yarn (ソフトコンシャス).
• A Japanese hairpin lace loom, possibly one along the lines of the Clover Hair Pin Lace Tool. See the top half of page 96 in the book, steps 1 through 9, for pictorial drawings of the loom and the evenness of the spacing widths between the rods inserted into the loom; plus additional instructions for the flowers.
• 2 buttons (1.8cm)

This pattern is designed for Continuous Crochet, including the flowers.
The pattern diagrams and instructions show how to move from one motif to the next motif, and then to the edging without ever cutting the thread until the mini-shawl is completely finished.

The mini-shawl is 84cm wide by19.25cm long when using the recommended yarn. (Approximately 37 inches wide by 19.25 inches long in back.
