Knit our Dress suitable to fit a child from birth to 7 years old.

Design:
The dress has moss stitch borders and a picot hemline and armhole edgings. The front and back are knitted separately on straight needles and sewn together at the shoulder. Stitches are picked up to complete the neckline and for the armhole edges.

Sizes:
The pattern includes 6 sizes to fit child: 0-6 mths, 6-12 mths, 1-2 yrs, 2-3 yrs, 4-5 yrs and 6-7 years old

Yarn:
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply).
The picture shows the 1-2 years size knitted using Sirdar Snuggly DK in shade White (0251).

Tension:
22 sts and 28 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles:
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles are required.
