• Japanese size 5 & 7 knitting needles (3.6 & 4.2mm)
• Japanese size 6/0 crochet hook (3.5mm)

Note: Gauge differs by pattern stitch. For each of the following pattern stitches, a 10x10cm swatch should yield:

• pattern stitch A, 20 sts and 28.5 rows
• pattern stitch B, 30 sts and 28.5 rows
• pattern stitch D, 19 sts and 28.5 rows
