Design:
The Dress has a triple frilled hemline. The front, back and sleeves are knitted separately and then slipped onto the same needle to complete the yoke. Stitches are picked up for the back buttonbands. Also included is a pattern for a matching Hat.

Sizes:
2 sizes to fit doll 12-14 (15-18) inches or 31-36 (38-46) cms. Also suitable for a premature (newborn baby).

Yarn:
The pattern uses double knitting wool (an alternative yarn for overseas knitters would be USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply). You will need 1 (2) x 100 gram balls of double knitting wool.

Skill:
Intermediate. Written instructions provided. The Dress is edged with frills, so you will need some knitting experience and longer length needles (or circular needle if preferred).

Tension:
22 sts and 30 rows to 4 inches/10 cm (stocking stitch) on 4 mm needles or size needed to achieve stated tension.

Needles:
Sizes 3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles

3 buttons
Stitch holders
