Pablo the Paintbrush
Hi there,
I’m Cilla - the crochet addict over at cillacrochets.
Thank you so much for viewing Pablo the Paintbrush’s crochet pattern on Ravelry. It means so much to me!
You can get this free crochet pattern over on my website here, and you can also get a free copy of the PDF pattern by signing up to my mailing list.

A couple of notes to mention about the pattern:
- Yarn: You’ll need Aran / 10 ply cotton yarn in four colours.
- Other: You’ll also need scissors, tapestry needle, stuffing, black embroidery thread, and a stitch marker.
- Optional: You can use 8mm safety eyes instead of embroidering the eyes if you prefer.
- Pattern notes: Although this pattern is written in US terms, in the PDF download there is a conversion guide for UK terms as well.
- Stitches: This pattern only requires you to know how to single crochet (DC in UK terms), increase, decrease, and change yarn colours.
- Crochet level: This is a fun and simple crochet pattern suitable for crocheters at any level.
Please do not copy or reproduce this pattern, however I am more than happy if you’d like to sell your makes using the pattern. Just double check the copyright notice below for more information.
If you do decide to crochet this paintbrush, I would absolutely love to see your makes! You can share them with me on Ravelry, Instagram, or Facebook @CillaCrochets.
Thanks so much, and I hope you have fun!
Cilla x
