Meet Pacey the Panda - a baby panda who loves snacking on bamboo while staying snug and warm in his Easter egg basket.
Getting an exact gauge is not important for this project.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
- This item is a PDF that you download through Ravelry
- The finished panda ends up approximately 10.5cm tall using similar yarn and hook size. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook size will produce a smaller toy and vice versa
- Gauge is not important - just make sure the stitches are tight enough so that the stuffing doesn’t show through
- The pattern is available in US terminology
- The pattern includes step-by-step instructions for sewing
SKILLS
- Suitable for advanced beginners
- Magic circle, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increase, invisible decrease, crocheting around a chain, continuous rounds, colour change, front loop only
MATERIALS
- Head, body, and tail: 8 ply (DK) cotton in white - approx. 20g / 50m / 55yd
- Ears, eye patches, arms, feet, and body: 8 ply (DK) cotton in black - approx. 10g / 25m / 27yd
- Egg basket: 8 ply (DK) cotton in blue, white, mint, and yellow - approx. 6g / 15m / 16yd of blue and 4g / 10m /11yd of white, mint, and yellow
- Optional Cheeks: 8 ply (DK) cotton in pink - small amount
- Black thread to embroider nose
- White thread to embroider eyes
- 3mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Polyester fiberfill stuffing
