By special request from muumi, a Pachycephalosaur blanket square:-)

Pachycephs lived in a tropical environment in North America between 70 and 66mya. They were possibly omnivorous, having back teeth set up for chewing vegetation, but a sharp beak and front teeth that could probably have dealt with meat.
They are famous for their domed skull like a crash-helmet and may have indulged in head-to-head fighting.

You will need two skeins of yarn in contrasting colours.

The pattern is 47sts by 58 rows done in double knitting, and comes out at 10 inches square on 4mm needles.

You could use thicker yarn and larger needles for a larger square if you wish.
