Pacific Crest Trail is a classic textured shawl with a modern twist that’s sure to become a wardrobe staple. Picture wearing it as a stunning accessory on cool evenings or to wrap yourself in as you snuggle up in front of a fire.

The stitch pattern depicts the Pacific Crest Trail itself and is an easy textured stitch with a simple cable that you’ll memorize in no time. There are two size options included in the pattern.

Pacific Crest Trail is a triangle shawl with a center spine that is part of the design and is worked top-down. The pattern is both charted and written…yes, every single row of every chart is written out and included at the end of the pattern!

The pattern is written for sport weight yarn but could be worked in DK weight too. Size and yarn usage will vary with differences in yarn and gauge.

Inspiration: Pacific Crest Trail is 2,650 miles / 4265 kilometers of National Scenic Trail that runs along the west coast of the United States, all the way from Mexico to Canada through the states of California, Oregon and Washington. Experience and view the beauty of deserts, deep forests, mountainous terrain through the Sierra Nevadas, and volcanic peaks of the Cascade Mountain Range

This pattern has been professionally tech-edited and tested.
