Catch a wave with Pacific Street!

When I found out that Spincycle Yarns had a colorway called Wandering Star, I knew I had to knit with it. Once it was in my hands, this colorway of their moody, atmospheric Nocturne collection reminded me less of the stars and more of the shifting colors of ocean waves, from deep murky blues to bright, shining teals. So, I decided to knit myself my own personal colorwork sea.

The Pacific Street cowl is knit in a tube and twisted before the ends are joined together, making a twisted, colorful infinity cowl. A perfect place to hone your colorwork skills, the colorwork pattern is simple and easy to memorize, with both charted and written instructions. Instructions for both grafted and sewn finishing are available, making this pattern accessible to a wide range of knitters, from beginner to advanced.

Yarn
Main Color: Spincycle Yarns Nocturne (100% Non-Superwash Merino, 200 yds 183 m/ 1.75 oz 50 g) in Wandering Star

Contrast Color: Brooklyn Tweed Peerie (100% Non-Superwash Merino, 210 yds 192 m / 1.75 oz 50 g) in Thaw. NOTE: Peerie has been discontinued by Brooklyn Tweed. I recommend selecting a smooth, worsted-spun sport or fingering-weight wool that is similar in character to your main color.
