This pattern makes a warm capelet that reaches slightly over the shoulders and mid-chest and back. It will fit under or over other clothing. It is cushy soft and warm without being flimsy.

It is made with a completely new log cabin construction using linked double-knitting, (more commonly known as brioche). Linked double-knitting uses two handed technique to complete in one row what brioche does in two rows.

50gm skeins in three different colors will be enough to complete the capelet. Kits in some colorways are available from Island Wools, on San Juan Island.

Gauge is similar on 4.0 - 6.5mm (US 6-9) needles. Wooden needles are recommended until the two-handed technique becomes comfortable.
Instructions are included for the two-handed technique as well as the log cabin construction.
