The Pacioli Shawl is an asymmetrical right leaning triangular shaped shawl with a mathematics theme. The shawl features alternating colors of Cerulean and Faded Denim along with alternating stitch patterns of Rhombus lace and Diagonal Ridges throughout its body and is capped with a section of Perforated Rib stitch at its longest edge. The shawl is worked from the bottom tip upward to the end.

Needle: US 6 (4.5 mm), 40” (100 cm) circular needle. Circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.

Yarn Used: Cascade Yarns (Heritage 150; 75% Merino, 25% Nylon; 450yds/492m; 5.3oz/150g; Colorways A- #5688 Faded Denim, B- #5637 Cerulean).

Yardage: Approx. 800-850 yds/732-777m.

Gauge: 15 sts per 4”/10cm. Gauge is not crucial to this project, but will affect the size and the amount of yarn used.

Final Measurements: Please note that measurements will vary based on the gauge, yarn used, and how aggressively the shawl is blocked.
