Paddle Path Beanie
The inspiration for the paddle path beanie pattern came from my love of kayaking. I wanted to create a functional and stylish accessory that could be worn on the water or while enjoying other outdoor activities. The unique paddle path design on the beanie is a nod to my passion for kayaking and the great outdoors. This beanie is knitted bottom up and in the round, using two different colours of wool yarn. Happy Knitting!
The finished measurements for the garment is 50 cm or 20 inches in circumference and total length is cm.
Gauge information (21 sts for 10 cm) on needle size 4 mm knitted in the round. It is important to obtainin gauge for a proper fit of the beanie. Change the needle size accordingly in order to maintain correct gauge.
I used Isager Jensen but other DK weight yarn can be used, as long as you have the same gauge as stated.
Skeins needed for this: one for the main color and one for the contrasting color.
Skills
Intermediate. You must know how to cast on and bind off. In addittion you must know how decrease and knit using two colours (stranded knitting).
