This vest is knit in a Broken Rib pattern.

It is worked from the bottom up in pieces (2 fronts and a back) and sewn together.

The front edging can either be knit or crocheted. Directions are given for both.

Directions are also given for adding a zipper or buttonholes to front edging.

When complete the vest is felted just a little bit to flatten out the ribbing and make it a little warmer.
