Padina Shawl
Padina Shawl is a fun adventure in knitting. Enjoy creating the bobbles, twisted stitches and lace that will have you engaged for the entire project. The result is a stunning shawl you’ll love to wear. Worked from the bottom-up, Padina Shawl is shaped with short rows. The lace inspired the shawl’s name, Padina, a genus of fan-shaped ocean algae. Knit up the coordinating Padina Hat for a gorgeous set that will be sure to be admired by many.
I am a bit obsessed by the gorgeous shade of green I used for my Padina set, local to me dyer, Sai of Happy Hank co dyes to order and ships internationally.
The Padina shawl pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the lace and a video tutorial for the bobbles.
