paglia e fieno is worked seamlessly from top down. for yoke increases it uses the contiguous method by susie myers. the cardi is cast on at a k1,p1 ribbing neckband and the neckline is shaped with german short rows.
the cardis right side is worked in reverse stockinette stitch with false seams in stockinette stitch on back, sides and sleeves.
after short rows are done, the cardi is worked in full rows in stockinette stitch on the wrong side to avoid purling.
sleeve are shaped slightly rounded.
