This crochet pattern is very easy to follow, and creates the most beautiful and easy cocoon cardigan. It’s super beginner friendly, and can be made up in the space of a week-end.

It is crocheted with chunky/weight 5 yarn, which can be easily substituted with your choice of yarn. I also used a 7 mm crochet hook for this project.

This is a great project for beginners, and starts with a simple granny square, which is later folded and sewn together, to create a beautiful shrug/cardigan. The sleeves and front of cardigan are then added, before finishing with a beautiful chain arch edging.
