Paint by numbers is colorful rectangular wrap knit in garter stitch. It consists of 36 mitered squares separated with garter stitch bands and then surrounded with beautiful mosaic frame.
You will need 2 main colors and 36 contrast colors as follow:
480m. of Main Color 1
300m. of Main Color 2
36 contrast colors of approx 25 m. each.

You can follow my color suggestions or go with your own idea of color palettes, therefor excellent stash buster!

This wrap represents my love of painting and knitting in one single piece. It combines strong colors, a hint of intarsia, textured appearance, rich mosaic border, and easy relaxing garter stitch.

The wrap is designed to be compact and quick knit. Size after blocking is 19 in (49 cm) x 55in (139 cm) which may appear small for someone. With small adjustments, you can continue knitting the mosaic border to obtain larger wrap if the bigger size is crucial.
