Painted Mountain is a half circle shawl formed by 4 rays or wedges that radiate from the neck edge. A pointy one row lace border is added at the end. This is a small shoulder shawl (51” x 22”) but is easy to enlarge by working more repeats or adding an extra wedge. This design works well with yarns that have long color runs. It’s easy and works up fast! A computer generated chart was added Dec. 2013.
