Pair of Hearts Cowl
The Pair of Hearts Cowl pattern was designed as a fundraiser for the American Heart Association. I was moved to create the design as heart disease affects people worldwide, including members of my own family. I was also inspired to design the pattern to honor the hard work and dedication of my son; a physician currently completing a cardiology fellowship.
I will be donating my proceeds from this pattern and the Pair of Hearts Hat pattern to the American Heart Association for the first month. Daisy Stitch Company and Toad Hollow Yarns have paired with me in creating special yarns for the pattern. Toad Hollow Yarns has created a beautiful pink yarn called, “Amour,” and Daisy Stitch Co. has created a lovely red and purple yarn called, “Heartbeat.” You may see the two yarns in the pattern photos. Please check out these special yarns as they will be donating proceeds from their sales to the American Heart Association as well.
I hope you will pair with us in helping fight heart disease through purchasing this pattern and the special yarns.
We also invite you to join us for a knit along to be held on Instagram.
Use #pairofheartskal to post photos of your Pair of Hearts Hat or Pair of Hearts Cowl. Be sure to post your finished object at: #pairofheartsfo to enter for prizes.
The Pair of Hearts Cowl stitch pattern features two pretty columns that resemble hearts running the length of the cowl. The cowl is made using three different needle sizes, which give the cowl an easy drape when worn. Enjoy making a Pair of Hearts Cowl for yourself and maybe even one for a friend. Also, check out the Pair of Hearts Hat for a matching ensemble.
Thank you for your help. Darcy
