Thank you SO much to my wonderful and talented testers: freehouse / ma9 / Ingaredstoka / morticiar / SKYSNOTHELIMIT and bookworm33329

Design
2 beautiful shades of blue led me to create a feminine top-down sweater to wear with my everyday use of a pair of jeans. It turned out so lovely, and I am happy to wear it with a skirt:)
The yoke is worked in the lighter shade, showing off the paisley-inspired lace-pattern, whereas I chose the darker shade for the main-body and the sleeves. My testers worked the sweater in either a combination of 2 colours, or in one colour only. Any favourite colour/combination you choose would look lovely!
As you work the sweater top-down you could work to any sleeve-length. The lower body can be worked straight, or with some waist-shaping.

Construction
The sweater is worked top-down and in-the-round. The sweater is completely seamless.

Sizes
Finished chest measurements, after blocking, and worked at gauge: 81.5/85/89/94/98.5/104/108/113/121/126/130 cm = 32/33.5/35/37/39/41/42.5/44.5/47.5/49.5/51.5”.

Materials
Yarn: I used Madelinetosh “Tosh Merino Light” to work the pullover. This fingering weight yarn in 100% merino comes in skeins of 384 meters/420 yards and 100 gr/3.53 oz. I choose to work the yoke in contrasting colour, Patched Indigo 651, and the main-body in Ceremony 379. If you choose to work the pullover in one colour only the total yardage needed is approximately 900/950/1000/1050/1100/1150/1200/1300/1400/1450/1550 meters 985/1035/1090/1144/1199/1253/1308/1417/1526/1580/1689 yards. The yoke requires approximately 85 - 100 meters/92 - 109 yards. Needles: it is important that you choose needles to obtain gauge (see further below). I used a circular needle, 80 cm/32” long, 3 mm/US2.5 for the body, a set of dpns 3 mm/US2.5 for the sleeves

Gauge
26 sts and 36 rows in stockinette sts = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4”
