Paisley Spiral
Crochet paisley pattern “Paisley spiral” includes (10 pages):
• Crochet abbreviations in standard US terms
• Explanation for difficult stitches
• A lot of pictures in progress
• Written pattern
To make this samples, I used multicolor yarn DK size (1.76 oz (50 g) / 135 yd (125 m)) Ambiance YarnArt and 3.5 mm hook.
Hint: use a hook without handle or you need a long tunisian hook too.
For these samples, it is best to use multi-colored yarn or several solid threads. Various types of wool, acrylic are suitable. DK size or thicker should be used for good texture. However, you can use thinner cotton threads that retain volume, depending on what product you want to make. Really, the gauge doesn’t matter!
In my finished products, I use paisley to make headbands. Many people say that this pattern looks like a shell. Use it to make a nautical themed piece! It can be a panel, blancket, pillow, jacket, bag, shawl and so on. Great entertainment for a vacation!
