This English PATTERN contains a description of crocheting the original children’s toy - pajamas holder monster Freddy.

This storage zipper toy will be a great friend for your kid.

The toy is used to put there pajamas, so make an opening with a zipper and sew an inner bag. But you can just crochet a monster pillow.

Size:

• main part (crocheted bag) - 22,5x35 cm / 9x13.5”.
• length with legs - 67 cm / 26”.

You need for work:
1. Yarn.
Super bulky/Super chunky velvet yarn Himalaya Dolphin Baby or YarnArt Dolce (100% Micropolyester, 100g/120m):

• white (≈120 g, I have YarnArt Dolce #741);
• green (≈90 g, I have Himalaya Dolphin Baby #80331);
• gray (≈80 g, I have YarnArt Dolce #760).

Sport weight/4 ply yarn Yarnart Jeans (50g/160m, cotton 55%, acrylic 45%):

• white #01 or #62 (a little for eyes);
• black #53 (a little in one strand for sewing eyes). Yarn consumption depends on your gauge and on a hook size.

1. Hook. I used hook size 4 mm for velvet yarn and 2 mm for YarnArt Jeans.
2. Polyester toy filling
3. Eyes. Half-beads size 12 mm (1 pc.) and 16 mm (1 pc.).
4. Zipper. I have 18 cm long (depending on the size of the opening). Choose a color to match your toy.
5. Fabric for inner bag. Approx. 26x70 cm of suitable color. I have cotton fabric.
6. Scissors, needle, stitch markers
