PALACE is a very feminine cardigan with a round neckline, a Claudine collar and straight sleeves tightened at cuff.
It is knitted from top to bottom seamlessly. We start the yoke from the back then the front stitches are picked on the top of the shoulders formed by shortened rows. The stitches of the sleeves are picked up then worked at the same time as the top of the body and then left on hold at the separation. The body (back and front) is worked back and forth and the button band at the same time. The sleeve stitches are picked up and knit in the round. The neckline is finished with a Claudine collar.

Finished bust circumference approximately: 36.5 (38 - 40) 41.75 (46.5 - 50.5) 54 (57.5 - 62) inches or 93 (97 - 102) 106 (118 - 128) 137 (146 - 158) cm.
Recommended ease: 2.25 to 4.75 inches or 6 to 12 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number.

GAUGE: 21 sts x 26 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in st st with larger needles.

YARN: this sweater is knitted with two strands of lace weight held together.

If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a Sport or DK weight yarn.

NOTIONS: needles sizes 3 mm/US 2.5 (rib) and 4 mm/US 6 (body and sleeves), tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 8 stitch markers and 8 (8 - 8) 9 (9 - 10) 9 (11 - 11) buttons of 10 mm.

PALACE est un cardigan très féminin avec une encolure ronde, un col claudine et des manches droites resserrées au poignet. Il est tricoté de haut en bas sans couture.
On commence l’empiècement par le dos puis les devants sont relevés sur le haut des épaules formées par des rangs raccourcis. Les mailles des manches sont relevées puis travaillées en même temps que le haut du corps puis laissées en attente à la séparation. Le corps (dos et devants) est travaillé en aller-retour avec la bande de boutonnage en même temps. Les mailles des manches sont reprises et tricotées en rond. L’encolure est terminée par un col claudine.

Tour de poitrine du vêtement terminé environ 93 (97 - 102) 106 (118 - 128) 137 (146 - 158) cm.

Il est conseillé de le porter avec une aisance positive de 6 à 12 cm. Pour choisir la meilleure taille, mesurer le tour de poitrine et ajouter l’aisance souhaitée, puis choisir la circonférence de poitrine finie la plus proche de ce nombre. Il est bien sûr possible de choisir d’avoir un tricot plus ou moins près du corps et de tricoter une taille avec plus ou moins d’aisance que préconisé.
Il est présenté en taille 3 avec 10 cm d’aisance positive.

ECHANTILLON : 21 m x 26 rgs pour 10 x 10 cm en jersey avec les aiguilles 4.

LAINE : le pull se tricote avec deux fils tenus ensemble : deux fils de type lace (50g = 420M). Environ 1620 (1710 - 1800) 1960 (2170 - 2340) 2470 (2700 - 2900) m au total.
Il est aussi possible de le tricoter avec un seul fil de type Sport ou DK.

MATERIEL : aiguilles suggérées n° 3 (côtes) et n°4 (corps et manches), une aiguille à laine, câbles pour mettre les mailles en attente, 6 anneaux marqueurs amovibles et 7 (7 - 7) 8 (8 - 9) 10 (10 - 10) boutons de 10 mm.
