Pale Rose
This pattern includes charts for four variations on a ladies hat with lace.
Thepattern is based on an Estonian pattern traditionally used in shawls: “õiteta piibelehekiri” (flowerless lily of the valley).
The lace includes a traditional shawl element: bobbles. Bobbles can be knit through the whole hat or only in the first pattern repeat.
Charts are included for both a short fitted hat and a longer slouchy hat. All versions can be knitted flat or in the round.
Yarn: 50g/4oz (100g/8oz) of fingering/sport yarn for the short (long) hat. Recommended are yarns with 120-180 m/50g (130-200 yd/ 4oz) for long version and 150-200 m/50g (160-220 yd/4oz) for short version.
Needles: 1.5 - 4.0 mm, US 00 - 3
