“Paletton” is an asymmetrical triangular shawl worked flat from the tip to the side.
Contrasting garter stitch stripes and lace sections as featured in this shawl create an elusive mixture of colors and textures and make this shawl an entertaining knit that keep you interested.

Two sides of the triangle showcase ragged edges that develop naturally during the knitting process and create the cheerful and unconventional shape of this shawl.

Materials:
* Madelinetosh Mo Light (80% Merino, 20% Mohair): 100g/ 420 yards (384 meters); Madelinetosh Dandelion (90% Merino, 10% Linen): 100g/ 325 yards (297 meters); The Plucky Knitter Plucky Single (80% Merino, 20% Silk): 100g/ 430 yards (393 meters).

3 colors: approx. 400 yards (365) meters of Main Color yarn (MC), approx. 320 yards (292 meters) of Contrasting Color 1 yarn (CC1), and approx. 150 yards (137 meters) of Contrasting Color 2 yarn (CC2) that knits up to gauge. Krausrippen in Kontrastfarbe wechseln sich mit Laceeinsätzen in einem kunterbunt durcheinandergewürfelten, rhythmischen Mix aus Farben und Strukturen ab, so daß das Stricken nie langweilig wird.

Während des Strickens entsteht an zwei der Dreiecksseiten eine unkonventionelle Zackenkante,
die dem Tuch seine ungewöhnliche und lustige Form verleiht.

Tiefe: 34.75” (88 cm).

Maschenprobe:
22 M und 36 Reihen auf 4” (10 cm) in kraus rechts nach dem Spannen. Eine genaue Übereinstimmung der Maschenprobe ist für dieses Projekt nicht zwingend notwendig; bei abweichender Maschenprobe ändern sich jedoch die Endgröße des fertigen Tuchs und der Gesamtgarnbedarf.
