This shrug is constructed of two strips of fabric that are sewn together at the back and at the sides. The ribbing at the hem is incorporated into the body of the shrug. You will use a smaller hook to make the ribbing.The collar is crocheted onto the front edge after the strips have been joined.

The shrug will look more like a sleeveless jacket. The armholes are very roomy and the back is the same length as the front.
